Transfer of technology know-how between Ara Borgstena and AB Borgstena Textile, Sweden.

Preparatory work and installation of machines at Shah Alam plant, Selangor.

JULY 1995
Production of circular knitting fabrics started in Ara Borgstena, Malaysia.

MAY 1996
Official opening on 7th May 1996 by Dato’ Seri Rafidah Aziz (Minister of International Trade and Industry.

JANUARY 1997
Ara Borgstena obtained ISO 9001 certified by SIRIM QAS, Malaysia.

AUGUSTS 1998
The factory moved to suburban area in Jenjarom, Kuala Langat, Selangor.

NOVEMBER 2003
The Company obtained QS 9000 certified by SIRIM QAS of Malaysia.

DECEMBER 2005
The Company invested in the production of high density single jersey and double jersey knitted fabrics.

MARCH 2006
The Company obtained TS 16949 certified by International Zertifizierung GmbH.

JULY 2006
The Company installed new flat woven machineries.
